OGUN - The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Sunday declared the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Jimoh Ojugbele, as the winner of Ado-Odo/Ota Federal Constituency seat in Ogun.
The APC candidate scored 24,184 votes to beat Mr Segun Atanda of the People Democratic Party (PDP) who had 15,880 votes.
Prof. Ayodele Talabi, the INEC Returning Officer for Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government, made the declaration at the collation centre at Ado-Odo-Ota.
He said Ojugbele, having satisfied the requirements of the rule and scored the highest votes at the election, was declared the winner of the Ado-Odo/Ota Federal Constituency seat.
”The APC candidate, having satisfied the INEC rule of having the highest votes of 24,184 against the candidate of the PDP, who had 15,880 votes, is hereby declared the winner of the election,” he said.
Meanwhile, in other presidential results announced by INEC at the headquarters of the electoral body in Abeokuta are as follows;

Present at the collation centre were state police commissioner , FRSC boss and INEC REC, Prof. Raji.
Elsewhere, the APC presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari has emerged winner in Yewa South Local Government with highest votes of 12,934.
The information was contained in the results sheet made available by the Returning Officer, Barr Ademola Akibyele.
From the total votes cast which stands at 32,954, valid and void vote was 30,361 and 2,593 respectively.
All Progressives Congress (APC) scored 12,934, PDP 10,709, ADC 1,140 while SDP got 260 votes.
