#2019Elections: Electorate Calls For Re-adjustment of Voting Process

OGERE - A Voter in Ogere-Remo, Ikenne local government, Major Adeyemi Ladejobi (Rtd.) has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to readjust the voting process.

Major Ladejobi who spoke with THE ENCOUNTER at Ward 7,Ogere Remo said the electoral commission should ensure that, the Permanent Voters Card (PVC)  can be used anywhere in the country.

He said if voters were able to use their PVC in their place of residence, it would reduce unnecessary traveling of voters across the country.

Meanwhile, as at 8:23am, voting commenced at Ward 6, Ogere with large turnout of electorate at the each polling units of the area.

In other places covered, electoral materials arrived as early as 7am in some major parts of the town .

There were heavy presence of security operatives at strategic locations of the area.
