ABEOKUTA - Otunba Adewale Osinubi has assured political associates and residents of Ogun state that, the former governor of the state, Otunba Gbenga Daniel will be readily available for consultation and advice despite quting active politics .
Daniel, had on Saturday submitted his retirement letter to quit partisan politics to the National Working Committee of the People's Democratic Party, PDP.
The former governor noted that, his decision to quit partisan politics notwithstanding, but to rejuvenate his charity based organization, the Gateway Front Foundation (GFF) which will literally continue to dispense succor to our people in need.
But reacting to actions by the former Governor who was the campaign director general for the party's presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, Osinubi said, "I was part of the think thank that advised him to resign, our leader, Otunba Gbenga Daniel has given his best in politics as far as I am concerned".
Osinubi otherwise known as WESCO added that, it is good to quit when the ovation is loudest, stressing that "We need fresh blood in the system, new pilots with genuine desire to win elections, without selfish interest or greed".
He further inserted that, "Otunba Daniel will still be available for consultations, advices and support to candidates that seek for his support and assistance in winning elections", he added.
