ABEOKUTA - Otunba Rotimi Paseda, the Ogun State SDP governorship candidate on Thursday called-on residents to turn-out en-masse and vote for the candidates of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), in Saturday’s elections.
Paseda said that was the only way residents of the state would get the desired dividends of democracy.
He made the call during his grand finale of his campaign rally in Abeokuta.
He commended residents for trooping out enmass at the Presidential and National Assembly elections in the state, urging them to do same for SDP candidates on Saturday.
He also pleaded with voters, especially women to come out en masse and vote for him as Governor of Ogun state.
He said: ”We are requesting for higher turn out and higher votes so that our yearning aspiration to have a God fearing candidate with human feelings who is ready to bring dividends of democracy to your doorstep. Our party is for the masses and I can assure you, any abandoned projects by the APC government shall be completed in the first three months in office.
”We also want to call on voters to come out enmasse as they did in the first election, so as to show support your support".
The SDP governorship candidate appealed to the people of Ogun State to remain calm, peaceful and shun all forms of violence during and after election.
