ABEOKUTA - If Nigerians can run away from sin in the same manner and magnitude that they have been avoiding Coronavirus, they won't only enjoy this world and make heaven but they will make the nation a better place to live in.
The Senior Pastor of People of God Church, Babayemi Estate, Odo Eran, Gbonangun, Obantoko, Abeokuta, Ogun state, Prophet Isreal Adesanya stated this in his Sermon during the church Sunday service.
The Cleric said he marvelled with concern how Christians and Nigerians at large have been running away from Coronavirus whereas they carry sin which is far more deadlier than COVID-19 in their bodies.
Prophet Adesanya pointed out that, it is worrisome that people are afraid of Coronavirus which if contracted will give them time to amend their ways and make heaven instead of them to be more apprehensive of sin that kills suddenly and send victims to hell immediately.
The Clergy pointed out that people are running away from Coronavirus because they are afraid of death, stating that if they are child of God they will be ready for death anytime because they are going to heaven.
The Engineer turned Cleric said no true child of God will be afraid of Coronavirus because they carry a divine sign of "when I see the blood, I will pass over'' as recorded in the Book of Exodus 22 vs 21 to 24.
Prophet Adesanya urged Nigerians and the world at large to take advantage of the challenges of the ravaging Covid- 19 to move closer to God because a deadlier virus with little or no prevention, nontheless cure will soon break out.
He charged Christians, Nigerians and the world over to forsake their sins and start obeying God's commandment, in order to prosper on Earth and make heaven.
Prophet Adesanya however allayed fear assuring that Coronavirus will sooner than expected dissapear into thin air.
In the meantime, the Cleric charged Christians and Nigerians at large to seek protection in Psalm 91.
He described Coronavirus as engineered and masterminded by mankind as a result of their insatiable appetite for sin especially fornication and gluttonic consumption of specie of reptiles, fish and birds that are injurious to man.
The Clergy described Coronavirus as a sign of the end time charging Nigerians in diaspora to repent of their sins and serve God in truth and in spirit.
Prophet Adesanya led the Congregation in batches of first, second and third service in special prayer of forgiveness of sin, mercy of God and protection against Corona virus at homes, families, Ogun State and Nigeria as a nation.
