COVID-19: Ogun Residents Commend NURTW Boss For Distributing Relief Materials

ABEOKUTA - Residents of Ogun State on Friday commended the Chairman of National Union Road Transport Workers, Alhaji Akeem Bodunrin, fondly called, Iyeru for giving them relief materials so as to sustain themselves during the restriction period in the state. 

Some of the residents, Isaac Egbeyemi and Miss Tolulope Enilolobo who benefited from the kind gesture expressed their apprecition for the food items given to them by the NURTW boss. 

They prayed God continue to bless him.

Speaking at the event held inside Quarry road in Abeokuta, the NURTW boss said it was his own little contribution at puting smiles on the faces of the people at such a critical time in the nation. 

According to him, it gladdens my heart to reach out to the people at this time.

He added, "as we all know that goverment at the federal and state has annouce the lock down as to be able to indentify those people with corona virus, as private individual and  union leader in the state, I need to assist me people, that is what I'm doing".
