Ogun Lawmaker, Adejojo To Train 500 Constituents On Vocational Skills In Abeokuta

ABEOKUTA - The lawmaker, representing Abeokuta South State Constituency 1 at the Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Yusuf Temitope Adejojo has concluded plans to train about 500 members of his constituency on various vocational skills. 

Hon. Adejojo who disclosed this on Sunday to THE ENCOUNTER NEWS in Abeokuta said, the training organized by his foundation, YAF Foundation is inconjunction with Capstone Cakes and Events, Capstone Crafts and More, and Duksbelle Makeover. 

The young legislator noted that, the first batch of the training scheme which began on Friday, 14th August, 2020 with 50 participants would train people on make-up, Ankara craft, Cake baking, Bead making, Soap making and many more. 

According to the him, the free training scheme consists of 10 participants with each category assigned to an instructor for a stipulated period to be determined by the instructors.

He added that, best participants at the training scheme would be rewarded and empower them with working equipments and resources to start the business.

"The Yusuf Adejojo Foundation Vocational Training Empowerment Scheme is a scheme sponsored by Yusuf Adejojo Foundation in conjunction with Hon. Yusuf Temitope Adejojo (Member, Ogun State House of Assembly representing Abeokuta South Constituency 1). 

"The scheme is designed to empower youths in learning vocational skills to help them in establishing themselves. The vocational scheme consists of the following skills; Make-Up, Ankara craft, Cake baking, Bead making, Soap making.

"The first batch of the training scheme begins on Friday, 14th August, 2020. Each skill category consists of Ten (10) candidate with each category assigned to an instructor for a stipulated period to be determined by the instructors.

"As promised by the Sponsor, Hon Yusuf Temitope Adejojo, the best students (to be determined by the instructors) will be rewarded after the scheme."
