Glitz, Glamour As Ladi Adebutu's Aide, Asiwaju Bolarinwa Celebrates Father's 80th Birthday In Style

ABEOKUTA - It was gathering of high socialites and political juggernauts at the 80th birthday celebration of the first elected Chairman, Sagamu local government area of Ogun State, Chief Olu-Bayode Omololu Oluwole.


Chief Oluwole who is the father of Personal Assistant to Honourable Oladipupo Adebutu, a former member of the Federal House of Representatives at the 8th National Assembly, Asiwaju Bolarinwa Oluwole joined the league of Octogenarians in the country. 


The celebration which was done in compliance with the NCDC directives saw the who is who in the political circle of Ogun state in attendance.


Speaking with newsmen, the celebrant thank God for the grace of attaining 80 years, adding that it was only the truth that can create a pathway for longevity.


Chief Oluwole further admonished younger generations to live a virtuous life, stressing that with the truth, one can never go wrong in life.


"What I want to say is that the most powerful weapon in life is to pursue the truth in all our undertakings. When you do that, you will not go wrong.


"Nigeria deserves good government and good leaders. I can say that Nigeria has been very blessed as a nation to have children who grew up in difficult conditions but at the end of the day perform credibly well in the interest of the nation."


The celebrant's Son and PDP stalwart, Asiwaju Bolarinwa Oluwole said the celebrant inform his adventure in politics at a tender age, adding that his legacies politically remains a force to reckon with.


"He is my all in all, he made me at an early age. He made sure I am a successful estate manager. He made sure I played a very important role in politics. All his legacies politically, I am trying very hard to make sure I uphold his legacies.


"He was the first Chairman of our local government area, Sagamu, then I was a very young boy and I follow him around. So, today by all standard I am trying my best to make sure that the legacies of my father is upheld" Bolarinwa said.



Dignitaries who graced the celebration included, A Chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in Ogun state and Former House of Rep. Member, Hon. Ladi Adebutu, State Chairman of PDP, Alhaji Sikirulai Ogundele, Former Chairman of PDP in South West, Eddy Olafeso, former Presidential Adviser, Dr. Doyin Okupe, Engr. Bayo Dayo, and Hon. Semiu Sodipo among others.
