PDP Inaugurates Ward, Local Government Exco In Ogun

ABEOKUTA - The Ogun state chapter of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has inaugurated leadership of the party at ward and local government levels of the state. 

The inauguration was conducted on Friday by the State Chairman of PDP, Hon. Sikirulahi Ogundele held at the party secretariat in Abeokuta. 

Ogundele while inaugurating the new executives charged them to reconcile all aggrieved members in their local governments and ensure victory for the party ahead of the 2023 general elections. 

He said the crisis within the party in the last nine years was not properly managed which was responsible for its loses in previous elections. 

"We are here to continue to solidify our party, we are here to inaugurate all the ward and local government exco members. We have just charged them to extend hands of relationship to the grouse members and also to extend it to the members of ruling party which is APC. 

"As you have seen, our members are up to the task, we have carefully selected who to be our chairmen at the ward and local government levels and we give glory to God that has made it happen. We are here to cement the relationship with all members. 

"It's just a known fact that, we must get ourselves together.  We need to resolve issues that can make us harmoniously be together ahead of 2023.

"One of the problems we have identified and makes us to lose elections is because our crisis are not properly managed.

"Base on the height of irresponsibility of the ruling party in the state, we are extending hands of relationship to them to bring them back to PDP. "
