SWAN/Oba Akamo Maiden Table Tennis Tourney Serves Off In Ogun

ABEOKUTA - The maiden edition of Oba Abdulfatai Akorede Akamo and Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Ogun State chapter Table Tennis Tourney would Serve Off on Monday.

The two-day tennis tournament will hold at the NUJ press centre, Iwe-Irohin House, Oke-Ilewo, Abeokuta beginning by 2pm.

According to a press release jointly signed by the SWAN Chairman, Hakeem Akintunde and Secretary, Michael-Azeez Ogunsiji The tournament was to commemorate the 60th birthday celebration of the Monarch which comes up on 1st October, 2020.

They said the tournament would be played among full and associate members of Ogun SWAN.

The release further stated that, draws for the two-day tournament will hold on Friday, 25th September, 2020 by 5pm at the September Congress of the association.

They said the tournament will commence on Monday, 28 with the final on Tuesday, 29th September, 2020 by 3pm at the same venue.
