Abiodun Approves Appointment Of Engr. As Ogun RAAMP Coordinator

ABEOKUTA - The Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has approved the appointment of Engr. Muritala Adeboye Adekunle as the substantive project coordinator for the State's Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP).


The appointment, according to a letter dated 17th November, 2020 followed "your successful performance in the interview held on Monday 29th June, 2020," the Permanent Secretary in the mother Ministry of Rural Development, Esv Jubril Olalekan Lukan, writes.


The letter added that Adekunle, the University of Lagos holder of Master Degree in Project Management will be additionally responsible as SPC, having earlier been the Environmental Safeguard Specialist for the same project.


A Libra of 6th October, 1969, the Ifo Ogun State born Civil Engineer has criss crossed the Ogun State Water Corporation, Bureau of Special Duties and Rural Development, Ministry of Special Duties, Bureau of Water resources and Rural Development and the Ministry of Rural Development as well as the Ogun Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project all, in the past 23 years.


Adekunle, a team player and three - time award winner in the Civil Service, graduated in Civil Engineering from the University of Ilorin in 1995, in addition to being an Alumnus of the University of Ado-Ekiti (now Ekiti State University)


Between August and December 1999, he was a post graduate scholar at the National Water Resources Institute, Kaduna, a feat which prepared him practically the more for deeper involvement in watering Ogun State.


A COREN compliant Engineer, Adekunle has his first Master in Environmental Management since 2005 before providence prepared him to obtain Unilag's Project Management certification in 2016.
