ABEOKUTA - Junior Chambers International, Abeokuta has said its partnering with Splash Estate Limited to provide affordable housing for its members.
This was made known by the national President of the chamber, Abiola Olorunishola, during a business meeting of the chamber in Abeokuta, the state capital.
While welcoming the Chairman of the Estate who also doubles as the chamber’s man of the month, Mr Victor Eniola Mark, the National President expressed pleasure and willingness to collaborate adding that the body will not stop at the collaboration but will also want to have members of staff of the estate as members of JCI in Ogun.
He said , “We look forward to partnering with and we would be glad to do that as we also look forward to having some of your staff as our members as this association is for young and vibrant youths within the age of 18 -40 years”.
In his address, the Chairman of the estate told the members of the willingness of the estate in ensuring that it made two million people home owners between the year 2020 and year 2025.
According to Mark, the estate has identified low Income as the major hinderance preventing people from owning a house, this made Splash estate introduce an instalment payment plan with a view to ease purchase.
His words, “first we must appreciate you for having us and having me as the personality of the month. I am opportuned to lead this team of young vibrant people at Splash estate .
“At Splash, We are passionate about making sure that people own a house. We have noticed that a lot of people have worked for so many years but still can’t afford a house. This is not because they don’t have money but because they can’t afford the huge sum of money at a time. For that reason and in line with our vision of making two million people homeowners, we have introduced an instalmental payment arrangement to ease payment for our clients ”.
