2023: Don't Vote For Professional Politicians, But...., Achudume Advises Nigerians

ABEOKUTA - The General Overseer, Victory Life Bible Church International, Apostle Lawrence Achudume has advised Nigerians to elect tested administrators as leaders of the country against the usual professional politicians.

Achudume stated this on Sunday at the grand finale of the 2021 Holy National Convention of the church.

He explained that, politicians by profession are those looking for what to eat and not to serve the people.

He maintained that, bad governance and maladministration witnessed by the country was as a result of political jobbers looking for what to eat.

He said, "If Nigerians can trust in God, trust in the talent God has given to them and put their hand to work the same God who has protected the nation for years will prosper the work of our hands.

"In the coming election, Nigerian should be typical with the politician who are not politician by profession. Politicians by profession are looking for what to eat, we need administrator in government as governor and as president not because they have a large follower, we need leader with intelligence, leaders who are business minded not who are money minded.

"Leaders that can change the nation. We need credible leaders, admistrators at the helms of affairs, Nigeria is blessed with natural resources and human resource so let maximise what God has given to us."

Meanwhile, the Akwa-Ibom state Governor, Emmanuel Udom has revealed that prayers and relentless hard work were responsible for the strides of his government. 

He said Akwa-Ibom had recorded significant progress under his watch, despite the meager allocation the government gets from the federal government. 

The state governor said this in his remarks at the closing of the annual convention of the Victory Life Bible Church, Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital.  

While urging Nigerians to follow their vision, with prayers and hard work, Udom said nothing can stop a prayerful and hard working individual.  

He said, "When you have the creative thinking, and you have God, keep praying on it.

"For instance with my meagre allocation, there is no way I could have paid salary and still build the Ibom airline which today is making waves. It is a miracle and a result of vision backed by prayers and hard work"

"When you have vision, keep working and praying about it. It will surely lead to success."

Governor Udom made it known that the Akwa Ibom State Government about to launch the regional arm of the Ibom airline while two new additional air buses would be purchased to upgrade the airline by the time he would be marking the second year of his second term in office.
