ABEOKUTA - The incumbent Transition Committee Chairman of Ijebu-Ode local government, Engr. Olugbenga Olugbile has emerged the Chairmanship candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ijebu-Ode local government.
Olugbile was declared winner following decision taken at the Ogun state chapter of All Progressive Congress stakeholders meeting held with the governor and other leaders from Ogun East to present the next candidate for the forthcoming local government elections in the state.
The primary election held at the local government Secretariat, Itoro decided by the stakeholders in Ijebu Ode Local Government was declared as free and fair.
Engr. Olugbile emerged as the party's flagbearer with the highest votes of 17, while Dare Alebiosu has 7 votes and Titi Adeyemi has 4 votes out of the 33 eligible voters at the stakeholders meeting.
