Bamgbose's Appointment Will Foster BON's Vision - RATTAWU

 


ABEOKUTA - The Ogun State chapter of Radio, Television, Theatre and Art Workers Union (RATTAWU) has opined that the appointment of its former National President, Dr. Yemisi Bamgbose as the Executive Secretary, Broadcasting Organization of Nigeria (BON) will contribute in no small measures to the development of the Organisation.


Dr. Bamgbose was appointed as the Executive Secretary of the Organization during the 74th General Assembly of the Organization in Abuja,


But RATTAWU in a congratulatory message signed by its Ogun State Publicity Secretary, Comrade Kolawole Oso described Dr. Bamgbose's appointment as well deserving, considering his years of experience in the broadcast industry.


Oso noted that, BON's Vision of fostering a future-proof environment for radio, television and new media broadcasters will be achieved with Bamgbose's wealth of experience in broadcast world.


The union equally congratulated the Assistant General Manager (News and Current Affairs) of Ogun State Television, Mr. Seyi Oladimeji for his appointment as Chairman, Zone C of BON.


"The Executive and Members of Radio Television, Theater and Art Workers Union (RATTAWU) Ogun State Council congratulate, our astute leader, two- term National President of the Union, a retired Permanent Secretary in the State Civil Service and a Veteran Broadcaster, Dr.Abel Oluwayemisi Bamgbose, on his recent appointment as the Executive Secretary of the Broadcasting Organization of Nigeria (BON), the umbrella body of both government and privately-owned broadcasting organizations in Nigeria.


"The State Chairman of the union Comrade Adewole Bamgbose adds that the  emergence of Comrade Yemisi Bamgbose as the Executive Secretary during the 74th General Assembly of the Organization in Abuja, no doubt, will contribute in no small measures to the development of the Organisation.


"He states further that BON’s vision is to foster a future-proof environment for radio, TV and New Media Broadcasters to serve their audiences and contribute to the development of the society, believed  that with his wealth of experience in Broadcasting world, the vision will be achieved."
