Ogun: APC Chairman Congratulates Farouk Akintunde Over New Appointment

ABEOKUTA - The Chairman, All Progressive Congress (APC) Abeokuta South Local Government, Hon. Adetunji Henry Fagbenro has congratulated a former Chairmanship aspirant in the local government, Alhaji Farouk Akintunde over his new appointment as Senior Special Assistant to the Ogun state governor.

Hon. Fagbenro, in a congratulatory message on Saturday felicitated with the new appointee, saying the appointment came at the right time. 

The party chairman maintained that, the appointment was not a surprise due to Hon. Akintunde's track record as a grassroots Politician.

“Sir, your appointment wasn’t a surprise, because you have all it takes to take the state and our dear local government to an enviable stage and next level."  

He therefore, enjoined the new appointee to live up to expectation and endeavour to use the new office to promote unity and love among the people, as well as come up with ideologies  that will move the state and the local government to the greater heights.

While wishing the new appointee a successful tenure, Hon. Fagbenro used the medium to thank, Governor Dapo Abiodun for the release of the appointment at appropriate times for the benefit of diligent and patriotic members of the party in the local government.
