ABEOKUTA - The Ogun state government has enjoined people of the state to endeavour to receive the second dose of Covid-19 vaccination in line with the guidelines from National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA).
The government noted that, the second dose was for residents that have taken the first dose in designated facilities across the State.
A release signed by the Commissioner for Health, Dr. Tomi Coker indicated that the exercise, which began on Monday, 24th May will hold through Friday, 9th July, 2021 for all residents and clients that have received the first dose with a minimum of six weeks interval and above between the first and second dose.
The statement advised clients to present their vaccination card at Health facilities where they got the first dose to receive the second dose.
It added that implementation of other phases of the COVID 19 vaccination shall be announced as event unfolds.
Residents are enjoined to seize the opportunity of the exercise to get their second dose vaccination and be protected against the Covid 19 virus.
