ABEOKUTA - A mother of one, Kikelomo Adedamola is seeking the support of the Ogun state government and the people of the state for her two-year- old daughter who is suffering from cancer of the retinal.
The child, Ademola Tunmise who is to undergo surgery at the cost of N6million was said to have been diagnosed with Cancer of the Retina at the Lagos State Teaching Hospital (LUTH) in Lagos.
Pastor Oluwagbounmi Olanrewaju who is soliciting support on behalf of the mother told Journalists in Abeokuta, the state capital on Tuesday that the parents had waited on God for two years after losing four pregnancies to stillbirths.
Olanrewaju who is a Resident Pastor at Baptist Missionary serving in villages around Wasinmi area of the state said "We need to raise about N6million in all for both medical (surgery inclusive) and other ancillary expenses."
He called on individuals to render humanitarian support by sending their donation to the father's account detail: 0157026028, ADEMOLA TEMIDIRE, GTBank.
He stressed that, "The family had waited on God for two years after losing four pregnancies to stillbirths. Eventually, they got the gift of this daughter.
"But the little angel is now having cancer of the Retina (RETINOBLASTOMA). I feel so touched. Hence, I am calling on all and sundry, God's people in whose hands the Almighty has committed treasures; to kindly join efforts and help this poor family.
"As you are touched to respond positively to the cry of the helpless and poor; and donating generously to this humble cause, it is our earnest prayer that your own life too shall attract God's mercy and divine attention always."
