Abeokuta South Chapter of Dapo Abiodun Continuity Agenda (DACA) has congratulated the Ogun state governor for the delivery of additional low cost 130 housing units to residents of the state.
DACA said as an apostles of the Governor, they were happy with the transformation agenda of the Governor.
THE ENCOUNTER NEWS reports that, governor Abiodun, on Thursday, inaugurated 130 housing units at Kemta, Idi Aba in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
The housing project christened Prince Court Estate is the first phase of the 300 detached and semi detached of two and three-bedroom structures.
Inaugurating the estate, Governor Abiodun said the project was first in the series of housing estates being undertaken by his administration across the state, insisting 2,500 of houses will be provided in four years.
The governor explained that the estate is provided with amenities, such as tarred road, water supply, good drainage system, fence, security and power supply.

While noting that the estate was an attestation of his administration's commitment towards infrastructural development in general and provision of decent shelter, Abiodun disclosed that the second phase of the 300 housing units would commence in the next few weeks, which according to him, will be over 10 percent of housing units targeted in four years.
He said housing projects were commenced simultaneously in the state through the the Ogun State Housing Corporation, Ministry of Housing and the Ogun State Property and Investment Corporation (OPIC), in order to be able to deliver the houses.
The governor noted that the project was part of the incumbent government's wholesome design for Greater Abeokuta as a befitting Capital City.
Speaking with journalists, a member of DACA, Mr. Muiz Omitogun said, the Governor remain their pride, and as his apostles, they shall continue to evangelize his achievements.
"As a government that put its people first, State Government ably led ‘Mr Road’ ‘Mr Health’ ‘Mr Education’ ‘Mr Housing’ as fondly referred to by his people will in a few weeks be delivering additional 150 units in the 2nd Phase, being part of the total 2,500 set to be delivered before year 2023."
