ABEOKUTA - The Commander and Operatives of Ogun State Amotekun Corps, CP David Ajibola Akinremi has assured residents of the state of safety of their lives and properties during and after Ileya celebration.
Commander Akinremi in his congratulatory message to Muslim Ummah felicitated with the Muslim Community and Residents of the State on the Sallah Celebration.
He noted that, the Corps in its commitment towards achieving its core mandate of intelligence gathering and prevention of all forms of crimes and criminalities in our dear State, has put in place, robust security architecture aimed at ensuring peace and tranquility before, during and after the sallah celebration.
The Amotekun commander maintained that, corps operatives have been strategically deployed to every nooks and crannies of the state.
He therefore, enjoined the people of the state to avail operatives of the Corps credible information that will assist them in ensuring a peaceful celebration.
The Corps Commander, however, warned those whose stock in trade is crime and criminality to either have a change of heart or better still relocate from the state as there is no hiding place for them in any of our communities.
