Ayorinde appealed to other political groups within the party to emulate the gesture in order to move the party forward.
He said "I thank DA LIKEMINDS for their support, this is unusual, I want to call on other groups to come out and take a cue from DA LIKEMINDS to take the party forward.
"If other groups and individuals can emulate this group, the party will move forward. You don't necessarily need to wait for what the party will do for them."
Speaking earlier, the APC Chairman in Abeokuta North local government, Alhaji Akeem Sobayo, commended the group's coordinator, Akinyele Ogunpola for his doggedness in moving the party forward.
