Allstars FC Abeokuta Applaud Olopade For Appointing Ex-Gateway Utd Captain, Omoyayi

ABEOKUTA - The management of Allstars Football Club of Abeokuta, Ogun State, has commended the President of the former FC Nilayo now Abeokuta Stormers Sports Club (ASSC), Hon. Bukola Olopade for appointing the former Captain, Gateway United Football Club, Omoyayi Saburi as member of ASSC's coaching crew. 

Omoyayi, retired last month from Gateway United having served the club for over 10years.

But Allstars FC President, Alhaji Waheed Lawal in a statement jointly signed by the club's Secretary, Babalola Semiu expressed satisfaction in the gesture, noting that Omoyayi appointment was a well deserved considering the role, commitment, dedication and dexterity he deserved Gateway United. 

Lawal posited that the Association had also seen the need to empower the Egba born talent by setting a new life-track for his career. 

He disclosed that, as part of efforts to further encourage the ex-Gateway FC Allstars management will take a step further with the approval of the President, the Executive and the elders of the association to sponsor him on a Coaching course at the Nigeria Institute for Sports (NIS) by next year. 

According to him, the move was to make Omoyayi self reliant in his new career.
