ABEOKUTA - The Ogun State Government on Friday received the first set of Dairy cows at the Fan Milk/Danone/Ogun State Government Public-Private Partnership Modern Dairy facility at Odeda farm institute.
According to the state Commissioner for Agriculture, Dr. Adeola Odedina the arrival of the dairy cows was as a result of the government's resolve to partner with the private sector to achieve the Agricultural sector goals of industrialization, food security, nutrition security, and job creation.
Odedina said the Dairy farm will make Ogun state one of the milk producers in the country.
The Commissioner was joined by Management of Danone Plc, French Agricultural Experts who had earlier hosted private sector players from Ogun State at the just concluded Livestock Summit held in Paris in October 2021.
