Aiyetoro-Budo/Ota Agog As Oba Odutala Holds 6th Festival of Praise

ABEOKUTA - The ancient town of Aiyetoro Budo-Ota in Ado-Odo/Ota local government area of Ogun state on 3rd December, 2021 was electrifying as thousands of worshippers gathered at the palace of Oba Adewunmi Adeniji Odutala to praise God at what was arguably the largest single congregation of worshippers in a community gospel music concert.

Tagged: "The Lord Reigneth", the festival of praise attracted popular music ministers from across the country; who thrilled audience, who turned out in large numbers with gospel melodies from 10pm till dawn.

In its 6th edition, one of the most gratifying features of 'Festival of Praise' is the ability to transcend borders, suspend prejudices and unite people of the community, cultures, color of skin, ethnicities, and denominations, as hearts fuse in ardent worship, exhilarating praise and fervent prayer to the Almighty.

In his speech at the praise night, the convener, Oba Adewunmi Adeniji Odutala, said the concert was a huge driver of diverse kingdom culture and influencing positive ideological shifts, shaping identities, stimulating innovation, forging meaningful relationships and collaborative endeavors, and fostering economic liberation among residents of the community.

Oba Odutala said God gave him clear instruction when he was enthroned, to always lead his people to annual thanksgiving; stressing that, the community is for Christ.

The monarch stressed that the festival of praise is an annual worship concert that binds both old and young together to worship God and foster symbiotic relationships among the residents.

The mammoth crowd at the Festival

"Festival of praise is an annual programme instructed by God himself when I was Baale. I came from a Christian family and my late father who was a Baale between 1989 to 2015 was also an Evangelist which makes it easier for me too.

"When he passed on, the Lord instructed me to gather people of my community every year to give praise to him and has become an annual festival in Aiyetoro that we use to praise him.

In his sermon, Oba Odutala warned Nigerian girls to be wary of evildoers and ritualists in 2022.

He revealed that many Nigerian girls will lose their lives for the love of money as many ritualists are out to renew their power and money.

"My message is very simple. People should be very careful. This coming year will be a little bit tough especially for the female. Every parent should talk to their children. A lot of female child girls are going to be missing next year. This is a divine message.

"Everybody should be careful. Let the female child be mindful of the friends they keep."

Speaking politically, Oba Odutala therefore, noted that Nigeria will be great again and many Nigerian bad leaders shall meet their waterloo and their secret shall be exposed.

Citing Ezekiel chapter 34, Oba Odutala said, "I have good news, and the news is that The siege is over. There is a message for this nation again. All Shepherd of God misleading people, their judgment is around.

"A new Nigerian is about to start. The Lord is going to raise a David for this nation. A David is coming that will speak the minds of the nation and next year, there shall be showers of blessing. All parents should warn their female children.

"Let us keep praying for our leaders. There will be a change next year that will be visible for everybody to see.

"The Lord will raise His own soldiers that will defend this nation and unite Nigerians again. The Lord love this nation. The siege over this nation is over. Nigeria is bouncing back as a nation of the Lord and the entire world will begin to see the true Nigeria as from next year.

"What will happen in Nigeria will affect the entire African continent? The Lord will raise someone that unite this nation. Everything about this nation is going to be positive as from next year."
