ABEOKUTA - The lawmaker, representing Abeokuta South State Constituency I, at the Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Yusuf Temitope Adejojo on Tuesday made a bold step by providing potable water for residents of Irepodun CDA in the Ijemo Agbadu area of Abeokuta.
Hon. Adejojo during his visit to the community assured to restore the pipe-borne water before the end of the year.
Adejojo said the pipe-borne water abandoned seven years ago, when reconnected will serve more than 200 houses and over 400 shops in the community.
The lawmaker said the repair of the pipe-borne water would bring lasting solutions to the scarcity of water being experienced by the people, especially during the dry season.

He, therefore, commended residents of the community for their patience and supports in the last two years, promising to always cater to the need of his people whenever the need arises.
The Chairman of the C.D.A, Alhaji Lawal Ishola, thanked the lawmaker for his swift action towards the community's request.
Alhaji Ishola while explaining the hardship people in the community go through to get water during the dry season, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the lawmaker.
