ABEOKUTA - An 8-year-old girl, Darasimi Elizabeth Saliu who is suffering from a diagnosed brain tumor needs N5million to save her life.
Darasimi, a primary 3 pupil was diagnosed since April 2021 with a tumor at the Federal Medical Centre, Abeokuta.
According to the patient's mother, Mrs. Saliu, the girl had undergone brain surgery to remove the tumor but got complicated and all efforts to get money for the new surgery proved abortive due to her financial incapacitation.
The mother however said, she is in need of another N5million to undergo her 4th surgery and radiotherapy to stop the spread of the tumor.
She noted that, doctors at the University Teaching Hospital, Ibadan told her to get the money within five days to save the girl's life.
She, therefore, appealed to Nigerians and philanthropists to come to her aid to save her only surviving child.
