TheBUNker Opens For Business In Ogun

ABEOKUTA– A business solution hub, theBUNKer was on Saturday opened for business operations in Abeokuta, Ogun state.

TheBUNker, which has its branches in Lagos, Ibadan and Abuja was established with the aim of bridging the gap between the high demands for business space and the unavailability of large funds for rents in a commercial area and commissioned by the Secretary to the Ogun State Government, Mr. Tokunbo Talabi.

While addressing journalists at the official opening of the company, the Chairman, Resource Intermediaries Limited, Mr. Ebun Bamgboye maintained that the idea to set up the office in Abeokuta was conceived out of the rising desire to satisfy entrepreneurs, careerprenuers, freelancers, professionals and students for a fully serviced workspaces for reading, meetings and trainings.

He reiterated that the disruption of work and unavailability of large funds to rent an office in a commercial area occasioned by the Covid-19 pandemic has led to the increasing demand for co-work spaces by start up entrepreneurs, freelancers and professionals.

He noted that, the facilities provide subscribers access to convenient co-work spaces, fully serviced private offices for a team of nine, training rooms, classy meeting rooms, virtual office plans, in-house Café with WiFi access.

He stressed that, spaces are available for rent for as low as N1000 per hour everyday of the month.

“in recent years, there has been a significant shift in the nature of how we work and interact, with open and more relaxed work spaces emerging. That trend has accelerated in the last twenty four months as businesses are increasingly open to flexible work options for their staff.

“The supply gap of affordable functional work spaces is heightened by the absence of sufficient libraries and a serene atmosphere for study and research in strategic locations all over the country, but more so in commercial city centres”

“Our subscribers can choose whether they want to work in a quiet space so they can focus, or work in a more collaborative space with shared work tables where interaction is encouraged. This further motivates subscribers as they become part of a social movement which enhances networking and mutual personal and business growth.

"We have virtual plans for business owners, entrepreneurs and professionals who don't want to lease a physical space or who would like to harness the opportunity of having multiple offices in different locations at a minimal cost. At any of our locations, we take care of their admin duties by rendering front desk services, phone answering service, credible business address and mail handling services. No office overheads, no administrative worries."

He, however, encouraged residents of the state, especially the students to take advantage of the serene atmosphere of the work spaces provided by the company, to rekindle the reading culture that the state is noted for.

“With as low as N1000, as I am told, students can leverage on the libraries here to further broaden their reading culture”, he noted
