ABEOKUTA - Hon. Moruf Erubami representing ward 15, Isaga/ Ilewo Orile, Abeokuta North Local Government, area of Ogun state has added another feather in his cap, as he received an award of excellence as an 2021 outstanding Councilor of the year from the the Patriotic Youth Ambassador of Nigeria.
The award was presented to him on Friday at APC party Secretariat, Abeokuta North Local Government for his excellent service delivery and performance within his constituency.
The National president, Comrade Amb. Omobolaji Oluwafisayomi while presenting the award to Erubami described him as a man of integrity, adding that he has performed wonderfully well since he assumed office.
According him, the awardee has been the best performing councilor in the year 2021, adding that the award is also to celebrate his exemplary qualities.
He added that they have been monitoring the awardee since he has become the councilor.
The National president maintained that Erubami before he became the Councilor he has provided boreholes to the people of the community.
Comrade Omobolaji noted since then he has done so many empowerments and palliatives on bad roads in Isaga Orile.
The All Progressives party chairman in Abeokuta North, Alhaja Faidat Sarumi submitted that Erubami deserves the award, saying that he is a man of his words.
She urged him to continue in his good deeds. He therefore added that he has made the people of Abeokuta North proud in his for winning the award "Councilor of the year''
Also the former caretaker chairman, Abeokuta North Local Government, Hon. Tunde Tella commended him for his good works so far, urging him to continue in making the people of he local government proud.
Also a former chairmanship aspirant of the local, Hon. Tajudeen Ishola hailed the group for giving Erubami the award, adding that he is a great performer.
Also some councilors in the local government and political leaders were also present at the event as they show the awardee love and support.
