ABEOKUTA - Residents and business owners of Laderin estate in Abeokuta have embarked on palliative repair of the estate's entrance destroyed by erosion.
The palliative was initiated by Mr. Ope Kujore, Mr. Tayo Oladapo and the owner of House 56 Hotel and Suite, Mr. Olabamidele Osunkoya to cushion the effect of the badly damaged road.
According to the youths of the community, the palliative measure was hugely financially supported by Otunba Wale Soyode.
They said the step became necessary following the neglect by the state government to provide succour to the suffering of motorists on that road.
They, however, urged other communities to assist government in the maintenance of community roads.
