Amotekun Nab Boy, 18, For Having Sex With Goat

The bestiality suspect

ABEOKUTA - Operatives of Amotekun Corps in Ogun state have arrested an 18-year-old boy, Ibrahim Ismaila for having canal knowledge of a she-goat.


The Amotekun Corps Commander, CP David Akinremi who disclosed this to journalists in Abeokuta on Monday in a press release said the suspect was caught at an uncompleted building by passersby who raised alarm for the arrest of the suspect.


CP Akinremi said the suspect has been transferred to the police for onward prosecution.


He maintained that, bestiality attracts 14years imprisonment under Nigerian law.


He also announced that, a total number of thirty suspects in different parts of the State for offences ranging from Armed robbery, Kidnapping, Cultism, Vandalization of IBEDC Electricity Cables and Aluminum Conductors, Bestiality, House Breaking, Stealing, Receiving Stolen Property, Unlawful possession of weeds suspected to be Indian Hemps amongst others.


The Amotekun Corps Commander noted that the operatives recovered a Lexus 350 SUV, six motorcycles, four double barrel cut to size rifles, 10 locally made pistols and two single barrel.


The corps also recovered a rifle earlier snatched from So-Safe Corps some months ago.


Other items recovered by the corps are Cassava grinding machine, large quantity of iron rods, electricity transmission cables, aluminum conductors, wires, over 50 kilograms of weeds.


He explained that, one Abdulazeez Adebayo on 13th June, 2022 reported at Owode-Egba duty post of the Amotekun Corps that 13 cows valued at N10.4million was stolen from his farm.


He said upon intelligence report, operatives of the Corps arrested the driver of the vehicle with which the cows were conveyed.


He added that his arrest led to the arrest of the herders and buyers at Ogijo Abattoir.


The Amotekun Commander therefore, commended traditional rulers and religious leaders at ensuring the fight against all forms of criminalities.


He called on parents and guardians to inculcate good moral values in their children, as well as warn them of dire consequences of engaging in crime and criminalities.
