Ogun Guber: Paseda Takes Campaign To Motor Parks

ABEOKUTA - Ogun State Governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Otunba Rotimi Paseda in the round up of his intense door-to-door campaign on Tuesday stormed Ayede,  Ogun waterside Local Government Area, ahead of March 9 Governorship and House of Assembly Elections.

Paseda who canvassed for votes, displaying the SDP Logo, thanked the people of Ogun State for their support and peaceful conduct during the Presidential and National Assembly Elections.

He urged them to come out en masse on March 9 to vote for the candidates of the party, proclaiming that the election will surely end in praise.

He equally held an interactive session with National Automobile Technicians Association (NATA) and members of the ACCOMORAN in Ogun Waterside.

The Encounter News reports that the interactive session was to offer a hand of fellowship and foster unity among the leadership of the automobile and motorcycle riders in the local government.

Paseda while addressing the automobile technicians, said that it was the responsibility of government to provide power and grant for a technological hub in Nigeria.

According to him, constant power supply and enabling environment with modern tools for the hub will open Ogun State as industrial destination of automobile technique. 

”What the government is supposed to do is to sit with your leaders and find out what the problems are and look for solutions to it.

”Government is for everyone, we are not about people that divide, together we are stronger like brothers and sisters,” Paseda said.

Other speakers at the colourful event, such as royal fathers, village heads and religious leaders expressed gratitude to the people for their massive support for the SDP candidate during the local government election held in 2016 in the state and appealed to them to vote for candidates of the SDP in the coming exercise.

They also extolled the humanitarian virtues of Paseda as a good man, great achiever and humble leader with a rare act of simplicity that endears him to the people, urging the electorate to elect him.

Climax of the campaign was the sensitisation and education of voters on how to cast their votes during the election.
