LAGOS - It is common practice in Nigeria that, when people of high status appeared at public functions, they always tend to appear in elegant way to draw attention and pull publicity stunt.
But these two society personalities recently shocked party goers on Friday at the final burial of late Chief Superintendent of Police, CSP Abike Grace Oduyemi.
Tunde Ayeni, a Lagos-based billionaire and his in-law who also doubles as the Yeye-Oge of Ago-Iwoye in Ijebu, and Olutanmole of Yewaland, Chief Mrs. Olabisi Ogunnaike stormed the colourful burial ceremony held at the playing ground of Police College, Ikeja in style.
Everyone at the party were in anticipation expecting the duo to storm the party in a loud ovation and elegant way owing to their social status, but they shocked high celebrities at the event with their simple, but classic dresses.
Clad in his usual white short-sleeved agbada, Tunde Ayeni was seen in sober mood throughout the party commiserating with his in-law's family and friends of the demise of his step mother-in-law.
