Ogun Students Plead With Governor Abiodun To Confirm Sidi Osho Education Commissioner

ABEOKUTA - The National President, National Association Of Ogun State Students (NAOSS), Comr. Gbemileke Ogunrombi has passionately appealed to the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abidoun to confirm Prof. Sidi Osho as the substantive Commissioner for Education in the state. 

The student's body equally passed vote of confidence on the embattled Commissioner-designate.

Gbemileke made the appeal on Saturday at the 2020 inauguration of the NAOSS national executives held at Iwe Iroyin, Abeokuta, stressing that Prof. Sidi Osho has shown over the time to be god-fearing, and God has continually lifted her well above her critics.

“Her mandate is such that would validate the popular Greek saying ‘que sera sera’ no matter how hard people try to pull down a hardworking person. We are of the opinion that when you are loaded, you will be needed as criticism will only make you do better” he said

The president further used the occasion to appreciate the Ogun State Governor for choosing one of their own, Adeyemi Azeez into his cabinet as Special Assistant on Students Matters, adding that the body will maximise the opportunity to foster peace among the students constituent.

He further call for the revival of the education standards and conscientiousness that Ogun State is known for over time, adding that everyone must rededicate their commitments in line with their primary assignment in order to achieve the set goals.

The Ogun State students president further assured the administration of Prince Dapo Abidoun that under his leadership, there would be transparency and accountability in all matters, stressing that he will give quality representation such that would be proud of.
