Coronavirus: Adebutu Donates Sanitizers To Ogun Journalists

ABEOKUTA - Ogun State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), has taken delivery of sanitizers to assist journalists in the state for the prevention of COVID-19 while on the line of duties.

The sanitizers donated by a former member of the House of Representatives representing Remo Federal Constituency, Chief Ladipupo Adebutu was handed over to the Secretary of the Ogun NUJ Caretaker Committee, Comrade Wale Oluokun at the NUJ press centre, Iwe Iroyin house on Tuesday.

Oluokun while receiving the sanitizers thanked the former lawmaker for the gesture and other assistance to the members.

He urged the state government to include journalists in Ogun state among those that will benefit in the lockdown palliatives of the state government.

Oluokun explained that the sanitizers will be distributed among the 12 Chapels in the council.
