COVID-19: Igbogila, Imasayi, Ibese Residents Laud Awoso Over Relief Package

ABEOKUTA - Residents of Igbogila, Iboro, Imasayi and Joga in Yewa North have commended Hon. Adegoke Adeyanju otherwise known as Awoso representing Yewa North State Constituency 1 for complementing efforts of Gov. Dapo Abiodun by distributing relief materials to members of his constituency. 

Awoso had on Wednesday embarked on distribution of foodstuff to members of his constituency as parts of efforts to ameliorate the suffering of the masses during the lockdown order by the federal government. 

Awoso while distributing the relief materials at Igbogila, Ayetoro, Sunwa, Joga, Iboro, Imasayi, Ibese and environs charged his constituents to adhere to all laid down rule during the lockdown period in order for them to avoid been harassed and extorted.

He further enjoined them to maintain proper hygiene by washing their hands frequently with soap and running water or hand sanitizer, maintain social distancing as well as follow all the rules laid down by the NCDC.

Some of the constituents who received foodstuff such as Rice, Beans, Onions, Noodles, groundnut oil appreciated the efforts of the state governor as well as Hon. Adegoke Adeyanju at ensuring the welfare of the downtrodden are taken care of while staying at home.
