COVID-19: MAPOLY Lecturer Returns To Studio, Releases New Video Against Coronavirus - WATCH

ABEOKUTA - Popular Abeokuta based lifestyle music artiste, 'Femi Orunsola stage named Awe has declared musical campaign against the spread of COVID-19 in his new hit Song tagged "Korona Gberu E!"(Meaning, Corona Virus Pack Your load and Leave!)

The Kogba Gidigbo exponent, an election evergreen song, said "worried about the pervasive detrimental effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on my country, Nigeria, and given my unalloyed love for the country, I have no option but to declare the novel Corona virus Personae Non Grata!" he said in a Press Statement issued in Abeokuta on his Facebook Page.

He further appealed to his fans across the world, especially those in Ogun state, Lagos and Abuja which are currently under lock down to adhere strictly to government regulations on staying at home, observing regular hand washing and sanitization as well as maintaining social distance protocols to ensure that the spread curve of the virus is flattened in good time.

The light-skinned lecturer at the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta (MAPOLY) maintained that, in furtherance of his typical character of deploying the instrumentality of music to comment on public affairs, like he did with the election evergreen song KO GBA GIDIGBO which went viral during the 2019 general elections, said "I have just released a dual creative missile in the form of an audio single plus its musical video to boost the morale of Nigerians to stay safe so COVID-19 can become a conquered foe sooner than we expect." 

Amidst the global war against the novel Corona virus dubbed COVID-19, the creative musical artiste who has to his feathers many hit tracks like "Ko Gba Gidigbo", the popular election evergreen hit track that ruled the air waves across South West Nigeria during the 2019 general elections, Awe has made another loud statement about his versatility and passion for humanity in this new Single Tagged "KORONA GBERU E!"

The Audio Version of the Song Which Dropped on Monday 6th April has Started enjoying lavish Airplay on Local Radio stations while the Video of the song attracts ample airplay on OGTV, the state owned television while the social media is also getting saturated with the snippet of the video released only on Tuesday evening.
