Shomide Applauds Governor Abiodun For Transforming Council Area Through Massive Road Network

ABEOKUTA - The Caretaker Chairman, Abeokuta South local government, Hon. Ayodeji Shomide together with the Ogun state governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun inspected the ongoing dualization of Panseke/Adigbe road project on Wednesday.

Shomide, who was one of the few top government functionaries at the inspection tour, expressed gratitude to the Governor for transforming the council area through massive road infrastructure. 

Speaking with journalists shortly after inspecting the road project, the council chairman noted that, the ongoing road projects by the state government in Abeokuta south are strategic in advancing economic growth, and industrial development in the state.

He added that, other road network spread across the local government would further beautify the state capital and the premier council area in Nigeria. 

He stated: "fixing the roads in ASLG would make the economic sense to improve in the suburb of the Local Government and it will increase the socio-economic lives of the residents who live in the surrounding community".
