One of the officers in the new uniform |
ABEOKUTA - The Ogun state Parking Management Scheme has re-branded its outlook by changing the uniform of personnel working with the scheme.
The Chief Operating Officer of the scheme in the state, Engr. Wale Yusuf who spoke with our reporter said the rebranding became necessary having engaged the officers on series of orientation during the lockdown period.
Engr. Yusuf said the officers have been trained on human relations and current trend in traffic management.
He said the new uniform was to give them new identity and corporate image for the organization.
"We have engaged the officers on various training during the lockdown period and for them to exhibit what they have learnt, we need to give them sense of belonging by changing their outlook.
"We want to command respect for our officers while on duty and give them that self esteem and satisfaction as parking management officers."
Engr. Yusuf therefore appealed to members of the public especially road users to cooperate with personnel and report any unruly behaviour to its headquarters at Ibara, in Abeokuta.
