ABEOKUTA - The Ogun state governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has said he would review the position of the law on the proposed visit of popular Yoruba activist, Mr. Sunday Adeyemo otherwise known as Sunday Igboho to Ogun state.
Igboho had on Monday in viral online video vowed to visit Ogun state and flush out all the Fulani herdsmen in the state.
Igboho had steer controversy following his threat to evict killers Fulani Herdsmen in Oyo state last week.
But Governor Abiodun of Ogun state on who spoke through his Special Adviser on Security Matters on Thursday at Ijagun, Retired AIG Olushola Subar noted that, Igboho remains a citizen of Nigeria with unrestricted access to go anywhere he likes within the country.
He explained further that, the state government would look at the position of the Law and constitution before taking any further action on Igboho's visit to the state.
"Sunday Igboho is an individual, and citizen of Nigeria. I can't utter anything, but that is not to say officially that the government is aware of what he's saying, but whatever he said, whatever has been recorded, would be well considered, we would look at it and look at the position of the law concerning any step that is going to be taken."
