ACOMORAN President Charges Members To Be Non-Partisan



ABEOKUTA - National President of Amalgamated Commercial Tricycle and Motorcycle Owners, Repairs, Riders Association of Nigeria (ACOMORAN) has called on members of the Union across the country to continue supporting government at all level.

Apelogun stated this at the empowerment programme of its members as part of activity marking the first year anniversary of Comrade Kayode Showunmi executive in Ogun State.

He attributed the success of the Union in Ogun State to the support the union is receiving from the present government whose action and inaction is in support of Acomoran and other union in the state.

“Our union has continue to receive adequate support from Ogun State government led by Prince Dapo Abiodun mfr and we want to appreciate the government and our members for partnering with the government in its quest to deliver on its mandate and its building our future agenda in the state” 

Speaking on his action plan as the National President of the Union, Prince Apelogun said the union is working on life insurance policy for members who encounter any form of accident while discharging his duty.

“We are also working on life insurance policy for our members across the country,this we are doing in partnership with a reputable insurance company and memorandum of understanding has been signed in this regard and we are also working with security agencies across the country on ways to support government in curbing insecurity in the country”, he concluded

Speaking earlier, the state chairman of the union, Com. Kayode Showunmi thanked members of the executive for their support in the last one year and called on them to continue supporting the present administration in the state.

“Ours is to continue to support the government and its program across the state and as a union we are partnering with relevant government agencies across the state”.

The state chairman said the empowerment programme was aimed at giving back to members of the union whose contribution and commitment has kept the union going over the years.
