ABEOKUTA - The Transition Committee Chairman of Ewekoro Local Government, Emmanuel Olumuyiwa Babayemi popularly known as Eruobodo has been honoured with "Icon of Humanity" award by a news medium, Amebo News Online.
The award, according to the organizer was based on the Council Chairman's performance during the news medium's December online poll.
Eruobodo was widely voted as the most popular grassroots council chairman and performing local government boss in year 2020.
The presentation was by the Managing Editor of Amebo Feeds, Solanke Ayomideji Taiwo at the council Secretariat on Tuesday.
Also, the Head of Local Government Administration, HOLGA, Mr Oderinde who received the awards with Babayemi in solidarity of unflinching support to his administration as the transition chairman.
