EDO 2020: Ogun Win Gold, Silver In Taekwondo Poomsae, Badminton

ABEOKUTA - The efforts of Ogun State Government paid off finally, as the state's Taekwondo team on Monday won gold medal in individual male category.

Salawudeen Afeez defeated Delta state team in Taekwondo Poomsae (demonstration) held at the Uniben Sports Hall to record the first medal for the state.

Similarly, the Badminton female team event secured Silver medals in a keenly contested match between the host state, Edo.

Kwara and Delta state won bronze respectively to win the joint third position at an event held at the Oba Akensua cultural centre.
