ABEOKUTA - The Director- General, PDP's Governorship Candidate Campaign Organization in Ogun State, late Buruji Kashamu, Aare Remilekun Bakare has joined the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State.
Bakare who was received into the party by the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun in Abeokuta on Monday said he has returned to his Political family.
He said despite being the a strong member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the last election, joining the progressives was a personal conjunction.
Receiving the decampee, Governor Dapo Abiodun said his government's giant stride achievements was largely responsible for the movement of major political gladiators into the party.
Abiodun noted that, unlike other party leaders hiring politicians with money into the party, his success in the last two years with capital projects spread across the nooks and crannies of the state.
"We don't hire or bring those cross to our party with money. They're not someone we can bought with money. We saw how others use money to buy other people to the party with pictures.
"It is our work that speak for us, that is why people are joining us. Our administration is not built on thuggery or hooliganism, but government of all inclusive.
" Sometimes ago, we see former governor Gbenga Daniel joining us, former Speaker of the House of Representatives, and former ADC Governorship Candidate joining our party.
"I want to urge the decampees to feel at home. No one is new members in APC."
The governor therefore, assured residents of the state of his administration's resolve to complete the Sagamu-Abeokuta within the next 60days.
He also promised to give Abeokuta a befitting State capital city.
