JUST IN: Explosion Rocks Obasanjo's Presidential Library

ABEOKUTA - Barely 48 hours after gas explosion rocked former Governor Gbenga Daniel's Conference Hotel in Abeokuta, another gas explosion has hit Former President Olusegun Obasanjo's Presidential Library.

The Obasanjo's Presidential Library is directly opposite the Gbenga Daniel's Conference hotel gutted by fire on Tuesday.

The latest explosion reportedly left two persons dead.

Our reporter gathered that the explosion occured around 11:am at the Macque event centre within the Presidential Library .

The explosion will be the fourth, that will be recorded in the last one week in the state capital.

Findings however revealed that the OOPL explosion occurred while the staff of the library was doing a routine cleaning.

It was gathered that it was one of the gas cylinders in the event centre that exploded.

An Eye witness at the scene of event explained that some dead bodies have been packed by a rescue team that arrived the scene shortly after the incident .

When our reporter visited the library, it was observed that both gates at the entrance the exit were under lock and key .

Attempts to gain access failed as the guards at the gates sent everyone that wanted to enter back.

Details later....
