ABEOKUTA — As the Chairmanship election in Ogun State draws near, some Chairmanship aspirants in Abeokuta South local government under the umbrella of All Progressive Congress (APC) have endorsed the candidature of Hon. Ayodeji Michael Shomide for the forthcoming local government elections in Ogun state.
The Aspirants namely: Hon. Saheed Balogun, Barr. Ayodeji Kehinde, Hon. Taiwo Kelani declared their intention to step down for the Transition Committee Chairman, Abeokuta South local government, Hon. Shomide to return to the premier council.

The aspirants noted that, decision was hinged on the performance and acceptability of the Council Chairman by the party leaders.
While receiving them, Hon. Ayodeji Shomide expressed joy with the aspirants support, assuring them of an all-inclusive governance if returned to the council.
