DA Likeminds Coordinator Congratulates Alhaja Faidat Sarumi As New APC Chairman In Abeokuta North

ABEOKUTA - The Coordinator, Dapo Abiodun Likeminds in Abeokuta North local government, Mr. Akinyele Ogunpola has congratulated the Chairman-elect, Alhaja Faidat Akintunde - Sarumi for All Progressive Congress (APC) in Abeokuta North local government area of Ogun State.

Ogunpola who described Alhaja Faidat's emergence at the just concluded local government congress as well-deserved victory, called on party members to support the new party chairman.

The DA Likeminds coordinator said that Alhaja Faidat would bring her wealth of experience to bear in her new position as a grass root politician.

He equally commended the outgone chairman, Alhaji Akeem Sobayo for his contribution to the party in the last four years.

Ogunpola who also congratulated other elected local government executive, charged them to eschew bitterness and rancour for the progress of the party in the local government.

"I am so much delighted to hear the news of our mama Alhaja Faidat has the newly elected APC chairman in Abeokuta North Local Government. We are not surprised at her emergence because she is a loyal, dedicated and committed party leader.

"Her victory is a well deserved one and I believe she will bring her wealth of experience as an astute politician in our dear local government.
