Alleged Certificate Forgery, Kidnapping: Abiodun's Aide Slams Sahara Reporters

ABEOKUTA - The Special Adviser to Governor Dapo Abiodun on Political matters, Hon. Biyi Adeleye has slammed popular online newspaper, Sahara Reporters for accusing him of kidnapping his party's council chairman while he was the local government chairman and alleged certificate forgery.

Adeleye spoke on Saturday in Sagamu area of Ogun State while receiving Outstanding Political Icon of the Year Award by Southwest Legendary Award.

Sahara Reporters in one of his stories alleged Hon. Adeleye for kidnapping his local government party chairman, forgery of certificate and many more.

But Hon. Adeleye hinted that all allegations were untrue, saying Sahara Reporters over the years had been reporting falsehood against him adding that being honour as the Outstanding Political Icon of the year will put Sahara Reporters to shame.

The Special Adviser therefore, dedicated the award to a social media handler, Akanni Oladimeji Balogun for his unbiased post on his social media page. 

He said Oladimeji always verify news before posting it on his page.

According to him "I feel deserving of it, but clearly in a week back to back I have been faced by Sahara Reporters and I am being honour same way, I think it's deserving and I am not taking the award for granted."

"I dedicated the award to Oladimeji Balogun, you know why, I have been following him on Facebook over the years and he has always been most fairness, unbiased and very honest reporter".
