ABEOKUTA - Veteran broadcast journalist, Dele Ayodo has been appointed as Consultant/Chief Operations Officer of Roots 97.1FM, Abeokuta.
The chairman/CEO of the radio station, Kunle Onime,on Tues, Nov 2, while introducing Mr Ayodo to the staff said, with his wealth of experience, no one can be more qualified to grow the station than Mr Ayodo.
He urged the staff to cooperate with him and the new head of the station.
A seasoned and vast journalist, Mr Ayodo has for 32years worked in the print, radio and television.
He was a staff writer/researcher with defunct vintage people magazine, 1991. News correspondent, OGBC, 1999. Middle belt correspondent covering plateau, Bauchi and Benue states, Galaxy TV, 2007. Head, News/current affairs, Rock city 101.9fm.
Dele Ayodo was a member, National caretaker committee, Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, SWAN, 1991-1993 coordinator, Lagos state governor's press corp, 2003_2005.
A respected and popular radio programme producer, presenter and public affairs analyst.
