Tele Ogunjobi Charges Christians To Reach Out To Less Privilege At Xmas

ABEOKUTA - Asiwaju Tele Ogunjobi has felicitated with Christian faithful on the occasion of this year's Christmas celebration, charging them to remember extend their generosity to those who are less fortunate with a view to making positive impact in their lives.


In a statement signed by Tele Ogunjobi Media Team, Ogunjobi said Christmas is a special time of the year when Christians across the world celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. 


He added that Christmas is the time when families and friends from all parts of society gather together to reaffirm those special human ties "that bind us together". 


Alhaji Tele Ogunjobi, who is the Wazir Musulumi of Ijebuland, disclosed that Christmas is not just a time to think of family and friends alone, but remember those who are vulnerable.


Ogunjobi, an aspirant for the 2023 House of Representatives election, paid tribute to those who have used their time, energy and skills for the betterment of the society, while he encouraged everyone to be thankful and appreciative for the many blessings from God. 


He said: "As this season celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ, I enjoin all to imbibe and demonstrate the essence of the season of love, make extra efforts to live in peace and harmony with our respective neighbours, irrespective of religious or political differences.


"I pray the divine lights of Christmas shine on our lives as we celebrate the season".
