Ogun: INEC Takes Voters Registration, Enrolment Machine To Ward Level

ABEOKUTA - As part of its effort to ensure all eligible voters are captured in the ongoing Continuous Voters Registration Exercise (CVR) in Ogun state, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has deployed the Voter Enrolment Device (IVED) machine to registration areas of the state.

The Head of Department, Voter Education, and Publicity, Mrs. Tadese Adenike disclosed this on Monday in a press release made available to journalists in Abeokuta.

Tadese said eligible voters who have turned 18years of age and above who have not registered before should visit their ward level for registration.

She noted that the registration at the registration areas starts from 9am to 3pm daily excluding weekends and public holidays.

She also urged those who wish to correct their data to avail themselves the opportunity of approaching their Registration Areas for registration when the machine gets to their area.
